What can having an Amazon Best Selling Book Do For You?
AUTHORITY = (Know, Like and Trust)
People forget about this hurdle when they’re getting into online biz. It used to be the most overused biz cliche around, but it’s shifted away from that in the past few years.
This is messed up, but when I wrote my amazon best seller I did it to prove that the system could be manipulated. And I was right. I became a best seller overnight (pre-AI writers, kind of). I didn’t really consider the know, like, trust factor.
But when I started chatting with potential clients I realized that I could get them primed to know, like, and trust me before we ever got on the phone (this was a service based offer) by giving them a free copy of my Amazon Best Selling book that basically just answered the FAQs for my target audience. I don’t think they even had to read it.
They just saw that it was there, saw that there was info in there that was relevant to their situation, and it established that authority that allowed that trust between us.
Most of them never even had to get on the call, which is really what I was aiming for because that ate so much of my time. They received it, flipped through it, and bought.
Now, depending on what you’re doing you could have the best seller come after the call (like a thank you for showing up, here’s a copy of my Amazon Best Seller as a thank you), or after a webinar as a bonus for sticking around, or as a lead magnet even beforehand.
Of course the passive traffic you get from amazon is one way to use it, BUT there are several other ways this thing can help you for a LONG time.
I used that best seller title in ALL of my videos for a long time. “Hey Chance Reynolds here, best selling author and the guy that is going to solve (insert whatever problem you are trying to solve).”
These things are VERSATILE.
Now, the method Daniel has come up with in this training has even more broad applications than I ever imagined.
Like finding a gap in what’s available on amazon for a specific search term, and then EASILY creating an entire book around that term so that when people search, amazon has no choice but to serve them your book.
That term COULD be something that you’re an affiliate for. Or a product you create. Or something general in your niche where you use the book to drive them to an opt in so you can serve them whatever you want until they buy or dye.
This thing is VERSATILE. THINK BIGGER. THINK BROADER.
